Summer Breeze

Upgraded Turf Breeze fans delivered today.  Will replace old box fans on holes 1,2,5,8, and 10.  These oscillate and will provide good air movement for entire green.  Setting of mounting posts begins tomorrow. 

Spring Fever

You know Spring is here when the Cherry trees are in full bloom and the geese start pairing up.  The course is beginning to realize that also with a touch of green being displayed.  Weather looks great for golf this Easter weekend.  Dust off the clubs and come out to enjoy the course.  Don't forget about Easter Egg Hunt at Innisbrook. 

Traffic Management

Deliveries to the clubhouse occur frequently each day.  With tight quarters in parking lot, this median receives the most unwanted arrant traffic.  After repair several times over past week a permanent solution was put in place.  See before and after pictures below.  Rock will be one less obstacle in woods between holes 10 and 18. 

Irrigation Pump Removal

Removal of failing irrigation pump for course took place this morning.  Other pump was replaced about four years ago.  New pump and motor will be installed by end of month.  Roof hatch worked great thanks to Mr. Herlong's installation a few years back.  

Greens Aeration

Timing of our first greens aeration could not have been better with little rain over the past week and above normal temps forecasted for the next two weeks.  The front nine will open tomorrow with all 18 open on Wednesday.  It's going to be a nice week for golf.  Don't let a little sand and a few extra holes on the greens keep you away.  

Back Lawn/Fire Pit Landscape Additions

Landscape additions to Clubhouse Backlawn and Fire Pit Patio areas began this past week.  Final touches will be completed next week.  Turf renovation will take place later this spring.
