The main range tee cart path installation was completed today.  See pictures below of process.  Installation of concrete for tee line, curbing, and stamped areas will proceed through next Tuesday.  Cart access on the new concrete will be available by next weekend.  During this critical time of concrete curing, please continue to utilize the detour route behind #18 Green for all traffic.  Thanks to all for your patience during this time of inconvenience.

Greens Aeration Recovery Update

Today is the 11th day since Greens Core Aeration/Heavy Topdressing was completed.  Recovery is progressing well with increased soil temperatures.  Dry/afternoon mowings were accomplished this past week at 0.180" and 0.160" HOC respectively.  Tomorrow morning's mowing will be at 0.150" HOC, followed by rolling on Sunday.  Goal for next week will be to gradually get back to pre-aeration HOC of 0.130", but will be proceeding cautiously with early extreme heat forecasted.  Improved ball roll will become more noticeable over the next week as coverage continues.  The timing of this process should assist greatly with improved turf quality and ball roll going through the summer months.  Thanks to all for understanding during this time of playability disruption.

Pool Stamped Concrete Area

The sand tether ball area by the pool has now been converted to a more functional stamped concrete patio area(see pictures below).  Pressure washing and sealing of surface will be completed this coming Monday morning.

Irrigation Pump Install

New course irrigation motor and pump install was completed last week(the one on the left in picture).  Other motor/pump was replaced two years ago.  Irrigation efficiency/reliability is greatly improved now for years to come.  Mother Nature will still need to assist with timely rain events to replenish storage ponds and creek during summer months.

Range Tee Renovation Update

Range project continues to progress well.  Looking forward to much increased teeing space and view from short game area near putting green.  Drainage on range floor began this week.  Netting has been installed on back teaching tee to accommodate for modified range activity during process.  Completion time frame still on track by month end pending weather events.

Greens Aeration

Our second greens core aeration went extremely well this week.  Recovery time frame will be much shorter than the March aeration with much higher soil temperatures now.  Daily rolling for surface preparation will the protocol through the weekend and into next week.  First mowing at higher heights will be later next week once turf growth has progressed above sand.  Mowing heights will be gradually lowered over the next couple weeks as coverage improves and sand becomes less abrasive to mower reels.  This late spring aeration will allow for continued development of root structure prior to summer heat.  Monthly venting with bayonet solid tines will proceed over summer months, same as past several years.  Final greens core aeration of the year will take place late September shortly after Member-Guest tournaments.
